In business in Vancouver for 32 years, my career experience in the entertainment industry crosses music, talent management, choreography, television production, theatre and live events.
Did you know that 32 years ago we didn't even have fax machines? And now we Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, are LinkedIn and carry wee devices called smart phones and I don't go anywhere without my Blackberry. We have webisodes and motion-capture technology and actors audition via online streaming for people thousands of miles away.
Technology has certainly changed our industry and will continue to do so but one thing remains the same........the well-trained, passionate, dedicated, professional Actor.
